Children have unique physical and emotional needs. They also view medicine and hospitals differently than adults do. When they get sick or injured and require hospitalization, they need a hospital unit with special doctors, nurses and equipment.

Our Pediatric Services Department is equipped to handle a wide range of medical and surgical conditions in children from birth to adolescence. We provide this care in an environment that meets your child’s needs for compassion and reassurance.

Parents are encouraged to be actively involved in their child’s care. Our staff explains every phase of treatment to parents so they can be a partner in the healing process. Children will feel more comfortable having their parents involved, and parents will feel more confident to care for their child once they return home.
